Description lionel.cons 2014-01-16 13:46:35 UTC
The latest version of No::Worries on CPAN is now 1.1.

This is the version to use everywhere. Please upgrade in Fedora and EPEL 5, 6 & 7.

Comment 1 Petr Pisar 2014-01-16 14:28:57 UTC
Revision history for No-Worries:

1.1	Fri Jan 10 2014
	* No::Worries::String: added an "align" option to string_table().
	* No::Worries::PidFile: added pf_sleep() to ease sleeping.
	* No::Worries::String: added string_plural() and string_quantify().

1.0	Tue May 21 2013

I'm not sure if this approach (upgrade everywhere) is suitable. See <https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/GuidelinesAndPolicies#Why_not_a_rolling_release_with_latest_packages_like_what_was_in_Fedora_Extras.3F>.

Comment 2 lionel.cons 2014-01-20 08:07:26 UTC
This new version (1.1) is fully backward compatible with the current one (1.0).

Deploying it on older distributions like EL5 has no drawbacks and some benefits like allowing new versions of packages using the new features of No-Worries 1.1 to be deployed on them.
