Screenshot of the list of window managers with scrollbar on Fedora 19
This bug exists in Fedora 21. I think the correct term is "desktop" (as in GNOME, KDE, etc.), not "window manager". Anyway, occurs in 20, 21, and Rawhide. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1108191 appears to be a duplicate of this. *** Bug 1108191 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I couldn't find a bug in GNOME's bugzilla, so I filed https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=741918 . Thank you Andre. It appears to be an issue with the dialog box/menu widget used. I see the same problem in a Gnome 3 desktop on some user themes using that same odd shaped window. It does not seem to register where the end of the screen is at. (So you get a list of "Sound Applications" that end at "t" instead of scrolling when using the "applications menu" extension.) If that does not make sense, I can take screen shots. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 22 development cycle. Changing version to '22'. More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Program_Management/HouseKeeping/Fedora22 Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. This was fixed upstream. |
