Fun fact: dnf can actually solve this properly.

interesting. not entirely related to this bug, but where do I read up on dnf?

Comment 5 Adam Miller 2014-01-20 16:14:13 UTC
Vincent -> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/DNF

Comment 6 David Strauss 2014-01-20 20:05:16 UTC
Of particular interest is DNF's use of boolean satisfiability.

Comment 10 Fedora Update System 2014-01-21 05:21:09 UTC
Package golang-1.2-3.el6:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing golang-1.2-3.el6'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2014-0257/golang-1.2-3.el6
then log in and leave karma (feedback).

(In reply to Fedora Update System from comment #10)
I can confirm, the 1.2-3 update installs without a problem.

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-1242/golang-1.2-3.fc20

I did "leave karma", meaning provide feedback; others, you should hit "add comment" and check off the button that says "works for me" or "does not work for me", etc.
