Description of problem:
Create a any type app,access the app via http://$app-url:8080, the page will hold on a while for a white page, finally will show "The requested URL could not be retrieved" page

2.access the app via http://$app-url:8080

Could not access, will show "The requested URL could not be retrieved" page

8080 shouldn't be accessible externally.  It's only exposed on the loopback address for the gear.
