Description Adam Miller 2014-01-25 00:11:13 UTC
This is a Request For Enhancement.

Request:
    My request is either to update libevent to the latest in the 1.4.x line (1.4.14b) or to backport the evbuffer_readln function, which was backported from 2.0.x to 1.4.14b and hopefully would not be too much effort to backport to 1.4.13.

"Justification":
    tmux version 1.8 requires this and tmux 1.8 has new features that I've become very accustomed to having available. While I know this isn't directly related to RHEL, I figured I should at least put in the request and see if this is something that could be updated to or backported. I'd never know if I didn't ask. :)

Thank you,
-AdamM

Is there any update to this? The flags changed but I don't know what all that means.

Thanks,
-AdamM

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is in the Production 3 Phase. During the Production 3 Phase, Critical impact Security Advisories (RHSAs) and selected Urgent Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) may be released as they become available.

The official life cycle policy can be reviewed here:

This issue does not meet the inclusion criteria for the Production 3 Phase and will be marked as CLOSED/WONTFIX. If this remains a critical requirement, please contact Red Hat Customer Support to request a re-evaluation of the issue, citing a clear business justification. Note that a strong business justification will be required for re-evaluation. Red Hat Customer Support can be contacted via the Red Hat Customer Portal at the following URL:
