Description David Tonhofer 2014-01-30 11:42:16 UTC
Description of problem:
=======================

Using vsftpd with "virtual user" can be done with a simple (httpd-style) user/password file as is done in Apache.

See:

  http://howto.gumph.org/content/setup-virtual-users-and-directories-in-vsftpd/

This file can be handled with the PAM module "libpam-pwdfile":

  https://github.com/tiwe-de/libpam-pwdfile

Currently that module is not in the repository. Might be of interest to think about adding at some point in the future.
