It hasn't crashed for me yet. Is this reproducible for you?

corebird-0.6.1-20140204git0242e4f.fc20.x86_64

Comment 13 Ankur Sinha (FranciscoD) 2014-02-05 06:30:38 UTC
Erm, it's crashing for you in rawhide, not F20. You've given negative karma to the F20 update.

Comment 14 Carlos Morel-Riquelme 2014-02-05 06:41:12 UTC
so i quit negative karma ?

> so i quit negative karma ?

Sure, as this is caused by different glib version.

Filed a bug upstream for this issue.
https://github.com/baedert/corebird/issues/105

Comment 17 Ryan Lerch 2014-02-09 19:21:45 UTC
Upstream has posted a patch for this.

Would you be able to try the most recent build of the upstream master that doesn't have the patch:
http://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/ryanlerch/corebird-unstable/fedora-rawhide-x86_64/corebird-0.6.1-201402061542gitdb3ebac.fc20/corebird-0.6.1-201402061542gitdb3ebac.fc21.x86_64.rpm

and see if it fails the same way?

And then check with this build (that has the patch), to see if it resolves your issue?

If it works at the second attempt, that probably means that no avatar
gets cached(that's where the bug *probably* was/is).
Can you just rm -rf ~/.cache/corebird (or wherever your $XDG_CACHE_HOME is)
and try it again? The old version should reliably fail at every start
with an empty cache; the new version should work with an empty cache.

Comment 20 Carlos Morel-Riquelme 2014-02-10 14:05:07 UTC
Timm i follow your tips , i remove the cache of corebird and later clear the system with bleachbit , but the version without patch continue crash in all attempt

terminal output ( corebird without patch)

[liveuser@localhost Downloads]$ corebird

-note-
corebird with patch work perfect !

Added a recent upstream snapshot build to rawhide, so this issue is RESOLVED
