Description tingting zheng 2014-02-10 09:24:39 UTC
Description of problem:
"ctrl+0" always shows at "Send Key" menu when using --hotkyes to set hotkeys

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
virt-viewer-0.5.7-6.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. prepare a guest named test.
2. # virt-viewer test --hotkeys=toggle-fullscreen=shift+f11,release-cursor=shift+f12
3.Check the menu "Send key"
4. # remote-viewer spice://127.0.0.1:5901 --hotkeys=toggle-fullscreen=shift+f11,release-cursor=shift+f12
5.Check the menu "Send key"

Actual results:
Step 3 and step 5,can see the hotkeys shift+f11 and shift+f12 at the bottom. But there is a "ctrl+0" at the bottom of the menu which is not be setted by the hotkey.

Expected results:
Only the hotkeys are listed under menu "Send Key",No "ctrl+0" shows at the bottom of the menu

Additional info:
When using virt-viewer or remote-viewer to launch guest,no "ctrl+0" shows at the bottom of the menu.

iirc, this is fixed upstream and last release has it.

Comment 2 Christophe Fergeau 2014-02-10 09:46:32 UTC
Yup, fixed by https://www.redhat.com/archives/virt-tools-list/2014-January/msg00021.html (grmble at the non-descriptive commit log).
This is dependant on this series https://www.redhat.com/archives/virt-tools-list/2013-November/msg00016.html

Comment 5 Cui Lei 2014-02-18 05:43:58 UTC
I can reproduce this issue with virt-viewer-0.5.7-6.el7.x86_64

1. # virt-viewer test --hotkeys=toggle-fullscreen=shift+f11,release-cursor=shift+f12
2. # remote-viewer spice://127.0.0.1:5901 --hotkeys=toggle-fullscreen=shift+f11,release-cursor=shift+f12

Both after above two cmd, "ctrl+0" will show in the "send key" menu.

I verified the bug with virt-viewer-0.5.7-7.el7.x86_64

After above two commands, there is not "ctrl+0" shows, and "send key" menu displays normally.

So change the bug status from "ON_QA" to "VERIFIED".
