Description rob 2000-04-09 17:50:01 UTC
On a Digital PWS266i system using both SCSI and IDE drives, during an
upgrade from RH6.0 to RH6.2 anaconda unlinked /tmp/hda1 and /tmp/sda5
at some point during its probe for existing installations. This
resulted in anaconda failing with an internal python error when it
next attempted to access those devices. A workaround was to jump to the
shell during the probe and manually run mknod.

This issue is being forwarded to a developer for further action.

Comment 2 Matt Wilson 2000-07-15 19:35:08 UTC
I would need to see the traceback to diagnose this.
