Source package contains two patches that are applied before building. One of them modifies configure.ac, however, autoreconf is run by the spec file only conditionally and the condition is never satisfied. The source code is then compiled in a debug mode. In client applications this causes debugging output being written to the console (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61003) or under some conditions even crashes.

* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing mesa-libGLU-9.0.0-5.fc20'
as soon as you are able to.
