Description Zdenek Kabelac 2014-03-07 08:44:44 UTC
Description of problem:

Thinpool target supports creation of a single metadata snapshot for thin pool metadata, so the userland may do runtime analysis of 'consistent' data (i.e. thin_check, or creation of metadata diff, doing precise analysis of space usage).

There could be exactly 1 such snapshot.
Maybe there could be some integration with persistent data tools, so if it knows, user requested check of live pool LV, it may automatically use this snapshot.
