Description Zac Dover 2014-03-13 05:59:58 UTC
An alert (a "confirmation window") raises when you deactivate a disk in RHEV 3.4. Previously, it was possible to deactivate a disk with a single click.

The PRD bug listed below contains rather a lot of discussion, but the upshot of the discussion is that a confirmation window now opens when you deactivate a disk.

Any procedures that contain information about deactivating disks must now be updated to include information about this confirmation window.

What Changed
------------------------------
The following topics were created or revised as outlined below.

Removing Network Interfaces From Virtual Machines [11487]

Split this topic into two topics. Before, this topic contained information on removing virtual disks, but now it only covers the removal of network interfaces.

Removing Virtual Disks From Virtual Machines [30154]

Created this topic to outline how to remove virtual disks, including the new confirmation screen when the disk is deactivated.

Hot Plugging Virtual Machine Disks [11151-623176]

Revised the last line of the procedure to include a confirmation step for deactivating a disk.
