Description mejiko 2014-03-15 09:46:39 UTC
Hello.

scribus included non-free images.
see trisquel bug number "10889" details.

https://trisquel.info/en/issues/10889 (See first comment)

I think that this package be affected by trisquel bug number "10889".

Suggests:

1. Remove non-free images and rebuild.

2. Replace fedora free (fedora acceptable licensed) images.

3. Remove fedora repos.

Thanks.

Blocking FE-Legal, This is license problem.

Comment 2 Dan Horák 2014-03-15 09:54:24 UTC
Where did you find the non-free files in the Fedora package? Unless a bug appeared they are removed from the source archive and thus not even installed.

Comment 3 mejiko 2014-03-15 10:32:34 UTC
RPM package is: scribus-1.4.3-2.fc20.i686.rpm

non-free file list:

/usr/share/scribus/editorconfig/dot.svg (Try "cat" command)

This file license is CC-BY-NC-SA (See /usr/share/scribus/editorconfig/dot.svg, using "cat" command), This license is not permit commercial use, Its non-free.

Ah, thanks, please include complete information in the report. Actually the same problem is also with "dot.png" in the source archive, most likely it's the same svg file converted to png.
