Submitted upstream to Ximian bugzilla... http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=50125 This is almost certainly something libgnome/gnome-vfs related Works after I added a handler for ftp in Filetypes&Applications. Same with https. Problems only for people, who do not have gnome-control-center installed. Yep, can confirm if you add the protocol to preferences/files and programs that clicking on the link will work. Maybe this needs to be changed to mozilla to include this feature when compiled? Now that we can't edit File types & Applications anymore, it is impossible to associate ftp:// protocol to anything if it's not already done... There shouldn't be a handler for ftp:///. That breaks file-manager handling of ftp uris. (It'll launch the app when you click on a subdir). However, it should just automatically work (open the link in nautilus). And it does seem to work fine for me on a fresh install of the latest version of rawhide. |
