Description Tim Lauridsen 2014-03-27 08:38:31 UTC
Description of problem:
dnf is now using group as object by default and it should be possible to
convert the old way where a group was installed, when the mandatory packages was installed into installed group objects.

yum does that with
yum group mark-convert

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.4.19

Discussed on IRC. Perhaps we should even do that automatically (perhaps not). Thanks Tim.

Comment 2 Tim Lauridsen 2014-03-27 09:13:49 UTC
The can't see any problems in doing it automatic :)

Comment 3 Honza Silhan 2015-04-14 08:17:25 UTC
Group as objects are default in yum from f19 [1]. DNF always treat groups as objects. Now there's a tool which imports group metadata from yum to dnf [2].
