Description Tom Hughes 2014-04-01 07:30:56 UTC
Updating from uglify-js-common to js-uglify fails:

Transaction check error:
file /usr/share/uglify-js from install of js-uglify-2.4.13-2.fc20.noarch conflicts with file from package uglify-js-common-2.2.5-2.fc20.noarch

The pretrans script to remove the directory so that the symlink can replace it is being attached to the wrong subpackage - it needs to be on js-uglify, not uglify-js.

Comment 1 Tom Hughes 2014-04-01 07:32:55 UTC
Actually am I right about that diagnosis? I mean shouldn't all the pretrans scripts run before any packages are updated? But then presumably not before the transaction check?

Comment 2 Andy Lutomirski 2014-04-01 19:10:42 UTC
I hit this, too. Presumably there's a missing Conflicts directive in there.

Eurgh, sorry :( Not sure how I didn't manage to come across this issue :(

I think you're right Tom, the pretrans script should be part of js-uglify subpackage. Fixed in above updates.

Comment 7 Fedora Update System 2014-04-02 18:23:06 UTC
