Description Michal Jaegermann 2014-04-02 22:35:23 UTC
Description of problem:

'man dnf' claims this:

       dnf clean packages
Removes any cached packages from the system. Note that packages
are not automatically deleted after they are downloaded.

Actually packages ARE automatically deleted once they got installed. Comments in bug 1046244 claim that now there is available a configuration option 'keepcache' which may cause a documented behaviour. The trouble is that outside those comments, and dnf sources I imagine, one cannot find this option mentioned anywhere.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
dnf-0.4.19-1.fc21

see here:

http://akozumpl.github.io/dnf/conf_ref.html#main-options

or 'man dnf.conf'.
