There's a new upstream release available for binwalk - 1.3 :
https://github.com/devttys0/binwalk/archive/v1.3.0.tar.gz

Note it appears to have moved to Github from Google Code as well.

* was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing binwalk-2.0.0-2.fc20'
as soon as you are able to.
