here CV3 doesn't display any repo, however repo is added in same org

Description of problem:
I was trying to add repo to a CV via automation and every time test fails as UI doesn't displays repos under 'Add' tab of CV.

This happens only when you navigate CV first time after creation. So please follow steps to reproduce and use search as mentioned in steps.

How reproducible:
always for me

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a product/repo and sync it
2. go to CV page and create a content-view e.g. cv-test
3. in serach bar, type the name in quotes like: "cv-test"
4. click on the cv-test name filtered by search
5. select content --> repository --> add

Actual results:
Ui doesn't display repos under content --> repository --> add
when you first time navigate CV as per above steps

Expected results:
UI should display the repos when you first time navigate to CV

Additional info:
This happens only when you select CV first time after creation. Let's say for first time UI doesn't show, now if you reselect the org in which it was created and again navigate the CV--> content--repo--> add tab, You will see repo listing.

repo is listed under Cv3, after re selecting org

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2014-04-10 10:27:44 UTC
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 4 Sachin Ghai 2014-05-02 08:22:09 UTC
The workaround is to select org again after creating the CV. And then CV displays the created repos under content tab.

Comment 5 Brad Buckingham 2014-05-16 19:20:33 UTC
When the user creates a new content view, that content view is opened immediately for them to work on. While the user can certainly enter the view name in the search box resulting in this error, it doesn't seem like something that will be the typical workflow. That said, it is an error that should be addressed.

Comment 6 Brad Buckingham 2014-05-16 19:21:00 UTC
Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/5765 from this bug

Comment 7 Bryan Kearney 2014-06-05 17:09:59 UTC
Moving to POST since upstream bug http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/5765 has been closed

Comment 10 Sachin Ghai 2014-06-13 10:58:11 UTC
Verified with sat6 beta snap9 compose2.

I can see the repos under selected CV via steps given in defect description.
