Description Alves 2014-04-10 16:15:26 UTC
Description of problem:
kde-partitionmanager is a VERY useful program for Fedora, but if you have 2+ hard drives /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, etc., it only sees /dev/sda. SO if you add a new drive, it is useless because you really need kde-partitionmanager to see the new devices, not the old one.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rpm -qa | grep partition
kde-partitionmanager-1.0.3-13.20130815svn.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
create a virtual machine, boot, update, yum update. Then add a second drive, do not reboot (it makes no difference). Install kde-partition manager. 2.
3.

Actual results:
The new device is not there.

Expected results:
all the devices of the machine should be accessible from the app.

Additional info:
Fedora and Red Hat need a graphic partition manager for KDE. Is there another tool available?

I see you already opened a bug upstream, good: let's wait for upstream to answer to it.
