Description James W. Mills 2014-04-11 21:43:29 UTC
Description of problem:

rhevm-log-collector does not gather rhevm-reports/dwh password data

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

rhevm-log-collector-3.3.1-6.el6ev.noarch

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:

# rhevm-log-collector

Actual results:

An sosreport is generated (with or without hypervisors), but the reports/dwh database information is not included

Expected results:

reports/dwh password data is included if the paths exist

/etc/ovirt-engine-reports
/etc/ovirt-engine-dwh

Additional info:

I think this could be easily solved by adding the above paths to the engine module we add to sos. However, I'm not sure if this is too much "cross-contamination" between reports, dwh, and rhevm. If so, I'd recommend a seperate sos module for both reports and dwh, shipped with their respective RPMs.

didi, can you check if this is still valid for 3.4.0 or if paths changed?
