Description Scott Mayhew 2014-04-15 13:51:52 UTC
Description of problem:

'rpcdebug -m nfs -s state' does not work in rhel6 (I realize we can work around this by using 'echo 16834 > /proc/sys/sunrpc/nfs_debug', but I've already been bitten by this once because I asked a customer to use the rpcdebug command and then failed to get any data as a result).

Please add this commit to the rhel6 nfs-utils:

commit 55b1769e63cdffa07b597fa6132c9902cec25265
Author: Chuck Lever <chuck.lever>

rpcdebug: Add new "state" flag for the nfs module

Kernel 3.5 adds a debugging flag for showing NFS client debugging
messages having to do with NFSv4 state operations.
