In rawhide is available jackson 1.9.11, with some upstream fix (available in 1.9.13 release, source package is not available for download for this one)
If is for you the same i can update jackson to 1.9.11.
But if you dont have notice jackson !1.x is in maintenance mode; only 1.9.x patch releases built"
see http://wiki.fasterxml.com/JacksonDownload

Otherwise you can move to jackson 2.x series... (available in f>=19)

Mike, Omer, Juan: is 1.9.11 good for you?

Comment 4 Juan Hernández 2014-04-21 08:47:39 UTC
Version 1.9.11 seems reasonable, but I didn't test oVirt engine with it, so I can't say if it is good or not. I would suggest that you (the oVirt team) test it. If it works for you we can update the version in Fedora.

Note that, as Gil said, the "jackson" package is now basically in maintenance mode, and will probably be retired from Fedora in the near future. You should move the oVirt engine to use version 2, where it was split into several packages, like "jackson-core", "jackson-annotations", etc.

Yes anything >= 1.9.9 would work for the neutron side of things, not sure about the rest of the project though (albeit I didn't encounter any problems using oVirt with later Jackson versions).
