This message is a notice that Fedora 19 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 19. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '19'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 19 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. Fedora 19 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2015-01-06. Fedora 19 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. I'm now running F21, and I need to use his scripts to compile another 32-bit PAE kernel and the bug remains. GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22,python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22,python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 22. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22,python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22,python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22 Package GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22, python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22, python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 22 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22 python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22 python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-9354/GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22,python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22,python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22 then log in and leave karma (feedback). My box against which I filed the original bug report is still running F21 (22 is a little new for me). Is it possible to get this update pushed for F21? Then I can directly test if it solves my bug. Thanks! GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc22, python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc22, python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc22 has been pushed to the Fedora 22 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. there is a F21 build in koji, I have not pushed it yet as I wanted more testing first I just got from koji: python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc21.i686.rpm GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc21.noarch.rpm And I still get the same bug error: [...] File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gitdb/pack.py", line 500, in sha_to_index return PackIndexFile_sha_to_index(self, sha) ValueError: Couldn't obtain fanout table Relevant packages: GitPython-1.0.1-1.fc21.noarch python-gitdb-0.6.4-1.fc21.i686 python-pygit2-0.21.4-1.fc21.i686 python-2.7.8-9.fc21.i686 Is there something else I need to install from testing? Or should I reopen this bug?? Oh, I just saw: python-smmap-0.9.0-1.fc21.noarch installed it and still bug remains. I can't see a way in bodhi to leave karma for the F21 version? Anyways, it looks like the new version does *not* solve my bug. Can we reopen? |
