Description Jeff Bastian 2003-11-04 16:42:43 UTC
Description of problem:
vim-X11 RPM (for gvim) is missing from RHEL 3.0
The other three packages are included:
  vim-common-6.2.98-1.i386.rpm
  vim-enhanced-6.2.98-1.i386.rpm
  vim-minimal-6.2.98-1.i386.rpm

It's missing from both AS and WS (I haven't looked at ES).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
vim 6.2.98-1

Comment 1 Karsten Hopp 2003-11-04 17:28:51 UTC
I'm sorry that I can't do anything about that. Product management
looked at each package and decided if we should include it in the
Enterprise version. Unfortunately gvim wasn't on the list.

Comment 2 Jeff Bastian 2003-11-04 21:12:13 UTC
Fortunately, though, the spec file for the source RPM had everything
in place to build gvim. I changed %{enterprise} to 0 and rebuilt from
source and I have a gvim package now.

Thanks anyway!
