Mageia bug https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13274 reports that ownCloud versions 5.0.16 and 6.0.3 will fix several security issues:

However, what those fixes are will not be disclosed until 2 weeks after the release of versions 5.0.16 and 6.0.3.

owncloud-6.0.3-1.fc20 has been pushed to the Fedora 20 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
