Description Karel Volný 2014-04-29 09:23:26 UTC
Created attachment 890702 [details]
screehsnot of dmesg

Description of problem:
I'm experiencing filesystem lockups; no writes, no reads, sysrq does not remount ro, can't sync, poweroff does nothing, I can just reboot.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.13.10-200.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
once per week

Steps to Reproduce:
1. just use the computer intensively

Actual results:
things begin to fail for apparently no reason
trying to investigate, you find that you cannot run any useful tool unless it has already been cached in memory - disk operations are stuck
after reboot, mount complains something about wrong number of free space/extents (the message disappeared too quickly)

Expected results:
system works without problems

Additional info:
I managed to run dmesg, see the attachment.

Josef, any ideas on this one?

Karel, do you know if your filesystem was close to being out of space?

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 20 kernel bugs.

Fedora 20 has now been rebased to 3.14.4-200.fc20. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
