Description of problem:

No options are visible in the questions dialog box ,after an attempt is made to kill the buffer . Emits the following warning in the terminal when the dialog box is closed

(emacs:2203): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to parse menu bar accelerator '\xf0\u001e/\u0003'

Also it is to be noted that emacs start with the following error

(emacs:2203): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_distribute_natural_allocation: assertion 'extra_space >= 0' failed
