Description Peter Rajnoha 2014-05-07 09:19:22 UTC
I'm using LVM on my machine with ~150 LVs used for various VMs as disks. These LVs have themselves LVM layout defined inside which means I need to use global_filter to not see the guts and to not scan it.

It happened to me 2-3 times this month that the global_filter was completely ignored and I saw how everything began to be scanned and autoactivated (of course, causing duplicate VG names to appear etc.).

It's not very common and definitely not easily reproducible, but if this happens, it's very annoying. I'm opening this BZ just to track that this problem exists. If I have a chance to grab more debug info, I'll attach it here...

Havent't hit this for a few months now. I'm closing this one as it may have been resolved with all the changes we did since last time I ran into this. I'm closing this one for now, if it reappears I'll reopen (but the problem seems to be gone).
