Description of problem:


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhev 3.3

How reproducible:
open the spice html5 console, hit the minus key and you get a javascript alert stating that "no map for X"

Actual results:
keyboard not working


Expected results:
keyboard working


Additional info:
we created a knowledge base https://access.redhat.com/site/solutions/877613 as a workaround ( at least for spanish keyboard)

Depends on upstream component. Note the support within RHEV is limited, as there is not much activity in the project...

based on above comment spice HTML 5 is still not happening
David, do we know the plans ot support it?

Hi Karim,

as we do not plan to get spice-html5 to a full feature (it has always been Tech Preview), we are deprecating this with RHV 4.2

If you are interessted in this feature, please try getting this done upstream. Also check https://eyeos.com for a different solution to spice-html5.
