Description of problem:
Window menu does not work when muffin is run as the window manager in Xfce (insted of default xfwm4) for both Gkt as well as Qt applications. There is no action when the user clicks on a window menu item (for instance in claws mail, a Gtk application), no sub menu pops up. There's no navigation possible.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login into a Xfce session
2. $ xfwm4 --replace & disown
3. $ muffin --replace & disown

Actual results:
window sub menu does not work

Expected results:
window menu can be navigated
