Description Michael Chapman 2014-06-01 00:29:09 UTC
Description of problem:
Use systemd-run to launch a process in a new systemd scope, then run "systemctl show" on that scope. For example:

  $ sudo systemd-run --scope bash
  Running as unit run-5179.scope.
  # systemctl show run-5179.scope
  Failed to issue method call: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

systemd-208-16.fc20

Not sure exactly which version fixed this, but I'm not seeing this bug on systemd-215-14.fc21.x86_64.

Sorry, that was the Fedora 21 package.

But it turns out it's fixed on Fedora 20 as well, with systemd-208-22.fc20.x86_64.
