Description James 2014-06-03 22:00:21 UTC
Description of problem:
Totem won't start. All I get is an error message stating "Some necessary plug-ins are missing. Make sure that the program is correctly installed."

This is an install of Rawhide from the 20140530 workstation live image, and up-to-date at time of writing with all the relevant gstreamer packages installed.

From the command line:

$ totem

** (totem:7235): WARNING **: Element 'audioconvert' is missing, verify your installation

** (totem:7235): WARNING **: Element 'autoaudiosink' is missing, verify your installation

(totem:7235): Gtk-WARNING **: A floating object was finalized. This means that someone
called g_object_unref() on an object that had only a floating
reference; the initial floating reference is not owned by anyone
and must be removed with g_object_ref_sink().

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
totem-3.12.1-2.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
