Comment 4 Lorenzo Gil Sanchez 2014-06-13 03:35:51 UTC
There is a problem in the tests of python-waitress that I discovered a few weeks ago while trying to update the package to version 0.8.9.

I'm still investigating the cause of the failures for the tests and I think it's related to the Python version.

Comment 5 Lorenzo Gil Sanchez 2014-06-14 03:18:24 UTC
Today I run the tests in Ubuntu 14.04 with Python 2.7.6 and they run fine without any errors.

I'm going to try with Python 2.7.7 in Fedora 20 to see if it is something related with the Python interpreter.

Comment 6 Lorenzo Gil Sanchez 2014-06-14 04:15:03 UTC
Ok, I tested it with most Python 2.7.X versions and it works in all of them in Fedora.

Then I tested it with vanilla Python 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.3.4 and 3.3.5 and it works in all of them but it gives a lot of warnings about unclosed sockets.

Comment 7 Lorenzo Gil Sanchez 2014-06-14 18:12:32 UTC
I found out that instead of running the tests with

python setup.py test

running them with

python setup.py nosetest

will avoid all the warnings and errors. I have succesfully try it here http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=7045312

I'll commit the changes and add a new version.
