Description Shruti Sampat 2014-06-10 09:12:10 UTC
Description of problem:
-------------------------

The status of volume self-heal monitoring service should be OK in case of there are unsynched entries, and if the self-heal daemon is running and the value of all of the following volume options is on.
cluster.self-heal-daemon
cluster.metadata-self-heal
cluster.entry-self-heal
cluster.data-self-heal

The status should be warning if there are unsynched entries and the self-heal daemon is not running, or the value of any of the above volume options is off.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gluster-nagios-addons-0.1.2-1.el6rhs.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Actual results:
Self-heal status is always warning when there are unsynched entries.

Expected results:
Consider status of shd and the above listed volume options to determine volume self-heal status.

At this stage of the project this is NOT A BLOCKER. But, we should document it, so that user gets a clear picture.

Thank you for your report. However, this bug is being closed as it's logged against gluster-nagios monitoring for which no further new development is being undertaken.
