Description Gene Czarcinski 2003-11-24 17:27:39 UTC
Description of problem:

I installed FC1 on a system with a Netgear NIC which uses the
"natsemi" driver. Some days later the NIC failed on me and I replaced
it with a Linksys (model NC100 rev 11) which uses the tulip driver.

When I booted up, kudzu recognized that I now had a Linksys card
instead of the Netgear card and did the fixup to /etc/modules.conf.

kudzu then prompted my for the network parameters with a text/curses
based program (if this is not kudzu, then that is the componenet this
should be against). It took my inputs OK but when I used the <CR> or
<TAB> key to move between fields, I got garbage at the curson's
position. Everything seemed to work OK except for the garbage characters.

Please note that I am running rhgb.

This is essentially 'fixed' in the devel tree, as the UI is never shown.
