I've the same problem with gimp and calligra-krita This message is a reminder that Fedora 20 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 20. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '20'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Created attachment 908845 [details] Offending PNG Description of problem: ======================= 1) Load a png image into GIMP. In order to debug a bit, I started GIMP from the shell. On stderr, we see: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile lcms: skipping conversion because profiles seem to be equal: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 sRGB built-in Not sure what this is about; but I guess the program that generated the png was flaky. 2) Do not modify anything 3) Try to save as PNG An unhelpful dialog box pops up: "Could not save image" (tell me why!) The target PNG file is created but has size 0. On STDERR, we see: (file-png:10720): GLib-WARNING **: (gerror.c:390):g_error_new_valist: runtime check failed: (domain != 0) 4) Sod that. Save as JPG. No errors, nothing on STDERR. Result is good.
