Log of Sugar Write activity when an empty canvas is saved

Description of problem:
Any effort at implicit or explicit saving of a file gives an error like the following if an empty canvas is saved

Terminated by signal 6, pid 1758 data (None, <open file '<fdopen>', mode 'w' at 0x9fb7338>, dbus.ByteArray('3eab028b5ec9dfc66dbe6939927d6bd9c8d94694', variant_level=1))

or like the following if something has been typed on the canvas

Terminated by signal 11, pid 2568 data (None, <open file '<fdopen>', mode 'w' at 0x9452440>, dbus.ByteArray('8d9cc38d33074178e8f26ca6cb5a446d101c3f99', variant_level=1))

How reproducible:
Everytime. On an 86_64 system and a i386 virtual machine.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Sugar Write Activity
2.Click on Plain text icon.
3.

Actual results:
Write activity aborts.

Expected results:
We should be able to continue.

Additional info:
The problem seems similar to http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13572

A small program to demonstrate that while save succeeds but get_content fails

Entering some text in the abiword canvas and closing the window shows that the save call is successful.

However, the call to get_content silently fails with no other indication.

Package abiword-3.0.1-1.fc20:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing abiword-3.0.1-1.fc20'
as soon as you are able to.
