Description Erik Johnson 2014-06-26 00:30:55 UTC
This will be a dependency for a python module I am submitting for review (https://github.com/ioflo/ioflo), a future optional dep for salt (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=13129). python-importlib is a python 2.4 package on EL5, a python26-importlib is needed.

I can maintain this if needed.

Comment 1 Erik Johnson 2014-07-24 03:21:14 UTC
Can we please get this added?

Package Change Request
======================
Package Name: python-importlib
New Branches: el5
Owners: terminalmage
InitialCC: erik

It has been over a month since I filed the initial request, and there has been no response. Please add the el5 branch, and I will maintain it.

Comment 3 Gwyn Ciesla 2014-07-30 10:10:55 UTC
el5 branch exists.

Comment 4 Erik Johnson 2014-07-30 17:08:02 UTC
Whoops. Sorry, I've been working on quite a few EL5 packages to package as deps to other packages, and I appear to have confused this package with another. I've requested commit ACLs, but as mentioned earlier the owner has been unresponsive. fedora_active_user.py shows his last login as over 4 weeks ago.

I will try to email the maintainer one more time before initiating the non-responsive maintainer procedure.
