Description of problem:
When connecting an external monitor to a Lenovo T440p the laptop monitor turns off and the external monitor works.

This lines show up in the logs:
Jul 03 09:57:15 titan kernel: [drm:ivybridge_set_fifo_underrun_reporting] *ERROR* uncleared fifo underrun on pipe A
Jul 03 09:57:15 titan kernel: [drm:ivb_err_int_handler] *ERROR* Pipe A FIFO underrun
Jul 03 09:57:15 titan kernel: [drm:intel_dp_start_link_train] *ERROR* too many full retries, give up


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
A fedora 20 kernel with a kernel from Rawhide (3.16.0-0.rc3.git2.2.fc21.x86_64). The kernel upgrade was used due to new support for other hardware on the laptop.

Always

1. Boot
2. Connect monitor

Actual results:
Black laptop screen

Expected results:
Working laptop screen

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 22 development cycle.
Changing version to '22'.
