In a non-HA deployment of OpenStack on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 that uses LVM as the backing store for Block Storage, the disk partitioning creates a 500MB boot and 100GB LVM set for root. The rest of the space is used for a physical volume that is used for a cinder-volumes volume group that will be use by Block Storage to create volumes.

This also depends on a staypuft PR, which is in process, but I need to add a UI warning for cases where this ptable doesn't exist in foreman. fixed in upstream 0.1.1-1, in poodle 7.14.4. should be noted that BZ1122753 will change these static values to dynamically allocating the disk. I will update doc text there. Verified:rhel-osp-installer-0.1.6-4.el6ost.noarch The VG named cinder-volumes exists. Creating volumes with cinder create creates volumes under /dev/cinder-volumes/ Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2014-1003.html |
