Description Ahmed Kamal 2014-07-07 16:33:44 UTC
Description of problem:
As of RHEL7 LXC containers (and docker) seem to be a first class citizen. I would love to be able to convert from other virtulization systems (KVM, ESX, VBOX...) to LXC/Docker

Comment 1 Richard W.M. Jones 2014-09-11 11:50:01 UTC
I've talked with Matt, and we're not going to implement this. It's
impractical for virt-v2v.

HOWEVER: you can convert disk images (from virt-v2v or otherwise)
to Docker using 'virt-tar-out'. We might want a better virt tool
here, but it's not something for virt-v2v.
