Description Chris 2003-12-10 03:49:50 UTC
Description of problem:

When viewing the linux system over VNC on a Windows 2000 platform
with TightVNC v1.2.4 the vnc windows just shuts down for no apparent
reason

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Often, but unpredictable

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a Tightvnc session from Win2k to my linux system
2. Enter vnc password
3.

Actual results:

a vnc session opens up to my win2k system and I can use it as would
be expected, but sometimes the window just shuts down and a dialog
box appears saying that the connection has shutdown.

Expected results:

That the window/session would remain open until I closed it.

Additional info:

This has been working perfectly for a very long time before I
installed Fedora Core Test 3, previously, I had RH Linux 7.3

Why using test 3 when final is released? This was fixed shortly after
final FC1 release with an update -- use up2date to fetch it.
