Description Michael S. 2014-07-16 12:53:23 UTC
Description of problem:
~ $ sudo service docker-registry start
[sudo] password for misc:
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl start docker-registry.service
Failed to start docker-registry.service: Unit redis.service failed to load: No such file or directory.

There is no hard requirement for redis.service to be on the same system, and I am not even sure redis is required for anything. SO this requirement should be relaxed.

Comment 1 Lokesh Mandvekar 2014-07-16 15:01:39 UTC
Yup, redis was only a caching requirement. 0.7.3 will get rid of it.

Comment 2 Lokesh Mandvekar 2014-09-09 16:51:58 UTC
This has been in fixed in 0.7.3-1
