Description of problem:
I was playing with sortings of the mail list. As a result Evolution just crashed without any error message

Thanks for a bug report. I think this is fixed in 3.12.x, some parts around this were changed in a development phase for the 3.12.x. Please reopen this or file a new bug rpeort in case you'll see it in that or any later version (to be part of Fedora 21). Thanks in advance.
