Description RHOS Integration 2014-07-26 04:04:12 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/neutron/+spec/vsphere-neutron.

Description:

This spec captures all the available options for
OpenStack Networking when using the VMware vSphere
suite in all its shapes and forms.

The aim here is to give the cloud operator/whoever
interested in solving his/her IT needs with OpenStack
a framework with which he/she can look at all the
available solutions, what they are/are not, can/cannot
do etc. so that an informed decision can be made without
the hassle of inspecting the code and/or rummaging
through the web in order to find answers about what
Neutron's capabilities are wrt VMware vSphere.
In other words, it is the impartial reference for
people to go look when they want to learn about this
topic.

At the same time, this spec also aims at identifying
potential areas of overlap/collaboration amongst all
the dev parties involved who want to improve work
on vSphere support for Neutron.
