Description of problem:
HP ELitebook 745 G2 with Broadcom BCM43228 WLAN.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.15.6-200.fc20.x86_64

broadcom-wl-6.30.223.248-1
kmod-wl-6.30.223.248-1

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kmod-wl and reboot as brcmsmac does not support BCM43228 chipset
2. WIFI availible as wlo1 but unable to find any accesspoints and you cant initiate a scan.

Additional info:

kernel parameter amd_iommu=off solves this problem.

We don't support the proprietary wl driver and you have a workaround.

Yes this was more like an informational report. Unless there is a problem with the amd_iommu? Report is also sent to Broadcom about this.
