(In reply to Berthault from comment #0) > Description of problem: > After a yum update today, my system stops at the reboot just after the > message: > [ OK ] Started Network Manager Script Dispatcher Service. What was included in the update yesterday? Please attach your yum.log. > My system was able to boot only after a power-off and power-on. > The dmesg shows several ACPI problems: > [ 0.092207] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, While evaluating Sleep State > [\_S1_] (20140214/hwxface-580) > [ 0.092210] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, While evaluating Sleep State > [\_S2_] (20140214/hwxface-580) Those likely have nothing to do with the reboot issue. I suspect they'll be present on older kernels as well. Is there any kernel backtrace in any of your logs? Were you able to reboot this kernel before you yum updated? If so, this isn't a kernel problem. I'm not seeing anything that would lead me to think it's a kernel problem anyway. I've tried to reboot several times my system and it's OK. The messages ACPI Exception and ACPI conflict still exist in dmesg but seem not to involve problems so you can close this bug. Sorry for the disturbance. Yours. Thanks. |
