Description of problem:
I tried to install the kernel 2.6 from Arjan's repository on my laptop
(an ASUS M3425CH). As soon as I try to switch to a console with
CTRL+ALT+F1 the notebooks reboots (without shutting down cleanly).

Apart from the kernel and associated packages the system is a normal
Fedora installation.

Let me know how to get some useful debbugging information you need.

kernel 2.6.0-1.104

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot
2.CTRL+ALT+F1

Actual Results: Reboots

Expected Results: Swith to console
