Description:

Currently, compute instances must be booted from images (or snapshots) stored in Glance or volumes stored in Cinder. This blueprint and related ones aim to implement  booting compute instances from a PXE boot server, i.e. bypassing the image/snapshot/volume requirement. 
In this use case the user cannot choose the NIC to use for PXE boot and DHCP request is sent over each network interface attached to instance.
